Hi,
I found this pin in a consignment shop and thought that it was different.
I am trying to find out more about it. I did come across a page on the internet that showed that it was made by Reja. However, mine does not have the rhinestones on the top of the hat and there is no marking on the back, otherwise they look to be the same. The name that it was labeled by Reja was Africana Belle Congo.
The measurements are 2 1/4" tall by 1 3/4" wide.
I would appreciate any feed back on this if there are any collectors out there.
Thank You

I have the identical pin and matching earrings no luck on research, Also mine has no rhinestone on the peak of the cap. Difficult to trace but why would the design have been copied - if copied there would be more on line.
Probably sterling with gold wash part of 1946 series but hard to prove for an unsigned item. I did discover that some Reja items were not signed but there does not seem to be a pattern - curious?
