Hello Fellow Collectors. Today I thought I'd share another British Character from the 1950's. Sooty & Sweep are glove puppets from British Television circa 1957.
This animated alarm clock features Sooty's arm in a boxing glove rocking up and down as seconds click off. This clock was produced by Smiths in Great Britain, circa 1957-58.

Sooty and sweep, lol, I loved them when I was a kid.
So cute! Never heard of them on this side of the pond, But did YOU ever hear of Kukla, Fran & Ollie?
