A small Chinese teapot of uncertain date, possibly first quarter 19C for the export market. Qing Dynasty. Bought in charity shop :) No damage whatsoever.
Bamboo-styled spout on acute incline; four strainer holes. Dimensions: 41/2 inches tall; diameter 3 8/10 inches at (glazed) base; length from outside round of strap handle to tip of spout: 6.5 inches. Teapot lid hole: 2 inches across. A beautiful little piece. Covered in many Chinese symbols such as peaches and lotus flowers, butterflies and birds.
I have seen other VERY similar pots, but this is the smallest in this style I have seen. Note raised round lip where the lid sits. Other slightly later teapots have a more rounded 'dome' style, and are invariably larger.
Any idea of the date? I don't think it could be earlier than 1820-30. Any experts out there?

Any marks on the bottom? What is the condition of the inside?
Condition inside is good; no hairline cracks, that kind of thing. No marks on bottom, no stamps, that kind of thing.
