      Hi,
Your clock is in the Rococo style, and imitates a French clock that would be of the period, or slightly later. While the clock is good quality, it is no more than 40 years old. It was made in Germany, as you know, probably around 1970-1980, by Franz Hermle und Sohne (FMS for short). They are still in business and I believe that the movement that is in your clock is still produced.
      Regards.

The 2 Cherubic brings on either side of your clock are actually half human half goat- faun! I found many similar looking clocks that match yours saying that it was an Italian Clock. 19TH STYLE CENTURY ITALIAN BREVETTATO EMPIRE.
