My mother was given this vase ten years ago... by me!
I had decided to give her a few pieces when she bought a display cabinet of mine. Mum had liked the cabinet for years and I had to down-size severely. I am grateful to her that she kept this little vase for me. I had no idea what it was at the time.
Thanks to the internet I finally tracked down its identity. I was really surprised that it is French. The enamel work is so baroque, it's rococo.
Mont Joye = Legras & Cie = St Denis et Pantin.
Mum has decided to down-size now and it has returned to my collection.
We only look after things for a short while.
Very Beautiful!
The rose bowl I posted today has a very Similar Enameled Design, do you believe mine is also a Mont Joye?

I looked up the Ruby Lane vase and it was a JIP, I think hers is too?
I think it must have been piece the p is near the L and ice are all in piece. no spell check in CW so it's not that but maybe just quick typing slightly off?
You're right! How many generations ( 2, 3 or 4 ?) now need to turn on, turn to, turn on to spellcheck?
