    This sterling vase, 8 inches high, has been in the family since my wife's father brought it back from China, where he served 1941-43. The markings on the base are in Chinese. We'd love to know something of it's history. Thank you.

      You need to post a clear photo of the marks.

      We do have some people that can help you but you have to help them by providing photos of the markings and a closeup of the other side of the vase etc.. you are allowed 4 photos in each listing. RER

      The mark photo is upside down

      The first mark if the picture is corrected is a Chinese silver standard mark which is 90% or higher the second one I couldn't find it is probably factory mark. It is a nice Chinese Export silver piece. 1880-1910 range. I love the enamel work
