Can anyone identify this old Maple Syrup Pitcher? It was owned by my great Aunt in London, Ontario Canada, from about the 1930s. Inside the handle is stamped "Patmar 20'83".Patmar seems to have been Japanese China Company that made little figurines, but I do not see any Vases or Pitchers like this..

Thanks Gillian, so frustrating,my computer is out for repairs. This site rotates pics from iPad upside down. I rotated the picture upside down in software, but it is still upside down here! I will try again when my computer comes back..
Edit the pic on ipad. Just a little bit off an edge will do. Save it and then reload it on CW. That works for me.
The handles may have been made by a different company than the ceramic part of the jug, as most potteries didn’t invest in metal forging/stamping equipment, Double check the base in good light, as there may be an impressed mark, which is difficult to see.
PS. I think the pattern is a Dogwood blossom
Maryh1956 thank you, yes, my Mother thought the handle was put on later.
many companies had pewterers make handles for their pottery, the most prominent being the German beer steins. It was probably made for that shape mold and used on various patterns.I didn’t have any luck finding a similar piece
