Came across this in an estate. Can't find anything that looks like it so it must be unique. Guess the person purchased this on a trip to Italy a long time ago. It's a ring and it fits me perfectly, I love it! I've never had a real cameo so I'm just learning a little more about them. It was in a case by Giovanni Apa, but that's all I know.

Gorgeous cameo ring, and I daresay in at least 9ct gold.
Apa are still making cameos today - here's their website:
      http://lpmapa.com/en/
They may respond to a request for a likely time period, but looking at the box and label I think this is later 20thC.
