      Google image search 1950's made in Italy Corkscrew. They made them in all kinds of characters. Your is is REALLY good condition. I guess Grandma didn't drink too much!

      These are Gemelli Corkscrews! Very collectible!

      Carlo Gemelli of Italy was granted American Design Patent 184,613 for this on March 17, 1959. The title of the patent is "Bottle Opener."
