    This is a stone sculpture of a Buffalo, I picked up recently at an estate auction. I really liked the lines of it. I am not sure what the pink stone is, but the horns appear to be pipe stone. It is a native american art piece. It is inscribed on the bottom " Tatanka (Sioux for Buffalo) Little White Man, Ogalla Sioux. 2006" It measures about 8" long, 5" high and 4 3/4 wide. On one side there is a medicine wheel. If anyone can identify the stone it would help. Thanks for looking

      Thanks SpiritBear, I googled Rose Marble and came up with much darker stones, I just don't know? Thanks for the help.

      I used to live in Regina. There is a native craft store named Tatanka Boutique this may have come from. Looks to be a fit !

      Thanks PhilDMorris for the love and nice comments, I am thinking this is a local piece as the Sioux Reservations are located not far from here in South Dakota.

      Could be, Regina is close to South Dakota also. Went there a long time ago for the states fair !
