Not sure where in my house I will be putting this, if at all. I couldn't afford an original, so I purchased this. Made c.1930 ish, has good vintage. The odd hole. But my wife isn't keen on it, so I may have to keep it rolled up out of the way...it's machine made. But plays the part extremely well.
As you say, it plays the part extremely well!
Collectors wives and hubbys are an important part of what you buy, what you keep and what is on display... LOL
