This is one of several posts today to celebrate and show why early plastic and vintage plastic jewelry is so fantastic. I will make a collection that hopefully can be of inspiration. I´ll let the photos speak for themselves beacuse here I want to show the variation and ideas. It will take up some space today and I hope you will forgive me for it and see the passion of a collector :).

Prices are going up for bangles such as these - people are collecting them in earnest. Still some very good deals to be had, but it's so helpful to know what's "real" and what's cheap import.
You have one of the best collections I've seen lately, and I love all of them. Do you wear them often?
Hello Gillian, thankyou ever so much. I want to tell you I have been able to find almost all my pieces for low or very moderate prices. I look in the right places and keeps calm :). I have only bought two pieces that cost a bit more and both from sellers (two bakelite necklaces under 55 USD each). I wear all my pieces but mostly only one at a time. I wear the longer bakelite necklaces most and the short ones not so often. I also like to wear my turqouise bakelite bangle an the choclate/cream/swirl bakelite bangle quite often. When the summer comes I intend to be brave an wear several bangles together so I need to buy some dresses that match :)
