    I inherited this old chair from my parents who got it from an older couple in 1949 and they had collected it and both of them were in their 80's at the time. I don't know anything else about it so if anyone can give me any info I would love to know more about it. Thanks

      I like it, the pics are way too small to be useful. It looks like a nice example of a hall chair. Possibly Eastlake design from what I can tell. These type of hall chairs had a seat compartment for items such as gloves. I could almost see it in an oddfellows temple.
