It's funny California Pottery, in general, is my favorite thing to collect, but really haven't posted very much here. Today while my wife and I were out thrift store shopping I found this cute Spaghetti hair and applied flower and tongue begging dog figurine by Harriet Guppy, probably from the 1940's. The hand painted eyelashes, nose, and lips, really give it caricature, all it's own. The dog is unmarked, but I fully believe it to be by Guppy. :^)
