So when I saw this bodacious little croc, I set down some other things I was going to buy in order to have him. 6", made in Uruguay by Artesania Rinconada, a small family firm that expanded, then partnered with another firm, then because of lots of drama eventually split up, then went bankrupt and closed. In 2013, the firm was opened again by another group of people. This particular croc was made in the earlier incarnation of the company, specifically 1978. Have to tell you, when I took him out of the paper to set him up for photos, I got the heebie-jeebies!!!! Behind that innocent smile, he gives off a wicked vibe, I'm no believer in such things, but he's not one I'd keep on my bedstand, yikes!!! Thanks for looking.

Pascale, you are a better and brave woman than me, LOL!! You might be right about the snaky tail, I thought that might be it, but it's also the eyes ... touching him, looking at him up close ... it's unnerving!!!! He's wicked, I tell you!!! :P ;))
