I recently purchased this chair from a thrift store. It swivels and rocks. It is in very good shape, and is all original. Never been refinished. I have found some similar chairs, but nothing just like this one.
If anyone could give me more info on it,(such as maker, area where it was made, age, and possible value.
I would appreciate any info on the chair, very much.
    Thanks folks.
    Take Care, John

Not all original in looks at all. The base is so different from the chair, while the base is large and bulky looking, the top is much more delicate looking. There is no way anyone can guess the maker as there were hundreds, do not even have the info where you found it, who sold it to you etc. There were thousands over the country of makers and in Canada also. Over 99% of them went out of business leaving no records at all !

I have been looking, trying to compare features, of other desk chairs. Not great at researching on line, but not seeing many with spindles like that. Picked it up at a thrift store. Brought in the day before. $50.00. For a really cool comfortable chair.
Thanks for the information. Learned something new today. That's a good thing!!
