Vintage champagne flutes. The bride and groom toasted each other with these flutes in 1936 in Los Angeles, my elderly Mother's Aunt and Uncle. Big fancy wedding. She was the Executive Assistant to the Publisher of the Los Angeles Times. They are 8" tall, sterling silver trim rings on the base. One is etched (assume was brides) and one clear. I've looked at hundreds of flutes and found none like these. Anyone have any thoughts or info?

My only thoughts are about how wonderful these are, and what great provenance!

Gorgeous! Not a tiny little stamp or marking underneath on the inside of the metal rim? They look silverplated.

Thank you racer, yeah it's pretty neat to think of the couple sipping from them 80 years ago. Yes OlofZ, the trim is probably plate and no I can't find a mark even using a magnifying glass, wish I could...:)
