This is a photo of someone in our family, which one, I'm not sure.
I remember hearing about my great uncle Bowe, he was the one who always had the best horse or horses to get the job done.
And then, there's my uncle Apple's brother they'd speak of, who either helped clean up after, groom, exercise or helped with the training of one the greats like Secretariat.
I always understood the possibility of being a fish tale.
    I was quite small.

Perhaps someone of your family is a CW member or horse training person and
      can identify the protagonists...

We had a horse and a mule and kept them here in our property!! Angel & Dooley. Decades ago but i miss them still. My daughter trained the mule from a "baby"--he was a wonderful ride and only would let women on him!!We were 4 women here--no men, so he didn't recognize any human not "pretty"! Ha ha.

That is a really special photo. I love it, really. Maybe you should frame it so it stays in great condition.
