I have posted the clock and inkwell from this Secretary desk plus it has been the background for many other posts. Now it finally gets its own post.
This is from the early 1900s based on the inkwell and clock that are built in.
In photo two the arms are extended. Those are supports for the cover that folds down to become the desk. They are covered with green felt to avoid damaging the finish.
Inside as seen in photo 3 there is a lift up top to store this and that. The lid fits very tight which has kept the interior of this section in good condition.
Photo four shows the various shelves as normally seen in secretary desks. Looks like it has a couple spaces on each side for the pens that would be dipped in the inkwell.
Sadly my carpet needs to go, that will be taken care of within ten years.

That is one really beautiful secretary. I love size of it and the clock really makes it!!
