    Hi everyone,
A little cherub with gold lined wings.
Unfortunately the flowers on the pot are very damaged and it's lost some gold gilt from the base.
Still it's a charming little thing.
It's made of solid ceramic, quite heavy for its size.
The cherub has a glossy finish, holding a matte green cup, very like Jasper Ware, which is most often by Wedgwood though this doesn't have any makers marks I can see.
    Possibly a Salt?
Any help appreciated, I'd love to know more about it.
    Comments are always welcome :)

    Thank you

I think too big for a salt - and they were usually made to sit on the dining room table. More likely a candle?

      Toothpick holder, I believe.

Thank you everyone. Gillian, I wonder if it is a candle holder, the light would catch the gold nicely, maybe that's why the bowls cracked. Or Efesgirl it could just as easily be a toothpick holder..who knows. Jscotto I agree, it's charming, whatever it's use:)
