    I was walking around the auto swap meet I noticed a frame what looked like a picture in a box full of car parts. I looked at it thought it was strange and I bought it. What I found out was an expedition was sent in 1901 to photo the suns corona. A few people died on this expedition. Only 8 photos were made. Turns out 2 are left in a museum in California and this is the 3rd. How it got here and survived I have no idea I'm glad I saved it from the parts box.

      Total in 1901 was in Indonesia (these days) ...... Sumatra. Lick Observatory’s expedition to Padang, Sumatra, to observe the 17-18 May 1901 solar eclipse.
