Corvette..... A name so familiar with people nowadays that even young children know it by heart. In 1968, Mattel managed to extend that with the Custom Corvette.
Grown-ups are also drawn by this model because it was released before the actual car hit the showrooms! GM got mad at Mattel, but did not withdraw the license to produce cars with the copyrighted name. This is what boosted sales for both GM and Mattel. As a result, both the real and scale car can be found in plentiful numbers today.
This car is fairly common in all colors except creamy pink. This model has been a long-time fave.
