    I have this pretty 2 handled footed carnival glass bowl. I believe it may be Octopus design, but am not sure of the maker. I am sure someone here will know!

      This style of dish is typically referred to as a bon bon. I'm not sure of the maker, but it is very beautiful.

      'Question Marks' by Dugan Glass c1910; this form is called as bonbon, handled compote, handled footed bonbon..., among other monikers...

      Thank you Beyemev and Jscotto, I am always happy to find interesting bits of glass when I am wandering round the charity shops. I found both in the same shop - I often find bargains in this shop as most things in it are only £1, though actually the Duck was £7 and Bonbon dish £3, so more than I usually pay, but both really interesting.
