This Victorian era vase which looks to be by Harrach has an interior layer of yellow & white stripes overlaid with a clear pale uranium green exterior. There is an applied green rigaree that spirals around the body of the vase, which measures 23.2 cm tall, 2.7 cm across the cut top rim & 5.8 cm across the base. Base is smoothly moulded without a pontil mark.

I have to do some more research in my archives, but there is a possibility that this is actually Harrach production.

I too look forward to further developments. The base in image three is different from any base I've so far seen on Welz striped vases of the period. However it's a lovely vase whatever the outcome.......
Hi sklo42, I've tweaked the description a bit now....I thought this one might catch your eye as your collection has very an impressive array of striped vases! The base is a bit different - has a (somewhat flattened) paperweight like appearance.
Hi again, I thought Welz at first glance and Welz does a very similar shape. I'm no expert and only go on what I have at home! Things get re-attributed all the time as more information/examples come to light. Harrach would make it more valuable :)
The first link shows an image of a Harrach case in the Passau, with décors and some foot styles visible. Most of the examples in this case do have leaf style feet. I think the important details are the ones directly above the foot.

In this second image, what we see are a couple of vases by Welz in a similar aesthetic, and the vase in question in this post. In the image we see that there is a donut in the stem of the two vases by Welz, and the vase in this post has a doughnut at the bottom of the stem. The same style of doughnut directly above the base of this vase can be seen directly above the leaf style bases in the Harrach case.

In this last image we have examples of what I believe to be a Harrach vase on the left and a Welz vase on the right.
To the best of my recollection, I have never seen the disc style of foot on the left example, on an example of identified Welz production. I have also have no recollection of having ever seen an example of Welz production with a donut directly above the base as is seen in the Harrach example. We do see that in the Harrach case image, although with a leaf style foot.
It is known that Harrach designed some glass to target the UK market, and I believe that Welz did also. As a result of that, it becomes important to pay very close attention to small details in the pieces, as there are in many cases, an amazingly similar aesthetic.

Based on this information, I believe that the example in this post is Harrach production, and not Welz.

Interestingly my great grandmother brought 2 of these over from England to Australia - had been in the family for 2 generations at that time.
Would be interested to know what kind of year you'd think these would have been produced?
