    Has been a quiet winter for trunk refinishing as my workshop (well garage really) is unheated. Still, I came across this lovely Martin Maier trunk which is now poised for renewal come spring. Although the all black kinda works against the silver cast hardware -- slats do need more work and I may decide to contrast the alligator tin with the outside trim. Well I have a few months to think about it. Right now it greets me as I drive my car into shelter from stormy blasts...
    First Martin Maier I have come across here in Quebec in five years...
    I used a nylon brush drill bit on the cast metal -- thanks Greendog for the tip - really shines it up nicely!!!
