This dish was given as a wedding present to my grandparents in 1909. It is 8 1/2 inches across. I think it is very pretty, but would love to know more about it.

I think this is Fenton's 'Vintage' with their 3 and 1 edge. Dugan also made a very similar pattern called 'Vintage' at the same time.
I noticed a plate/platter on eBay earlier today that looked very much like it.
Said it was Fenton carnival glass as well. Good luck, by TallCakes know what they are talking about from what I've seen.
According to what I am seeing here this was made in the twenties. so much for what my Mother told me about it being a wedding present. Still old and lovely, and I still love it. I also found the other one, it is peacock tail pattern with the same kind of edge. That one has a crack, but still displays very well. Thanks for the help Tallcakes and Karenoke.
the pattern dates at least back to 1910 base on being in Butler Bros. catalogs of that date.
Oh, cool. That means What my mother told me could be true. The family story is that the two dishes were given to my Grandmother and Grandfather for a wedding present. Those type of presents could be given anytime in the first year or two, even now.
