During a recent storage room cleaning,I came across this rather old looking cigar box.Since I live in Florida,I'd like to find out some history about the box.I realize the photos are not the best,but due to the age,a lot of the print has worn off
"Boite Nature" with lockwork (not 'dovetailing'). The hinge and lock is the thing used to date, and yours is a "type 1 ball pivot" lock. I'm putting it at around 1920.
