This was my first purchase of a 'Channel Island Jewellery' brooch. They are ceramic and then gilded.
Right now I am researching to find out who 'Channel Island jewellery' was and on which island they came from. There are two major isles which are: Jersey, Guernsey and then we have Alderney, Sark, Herm and Jethou (although this island is private and cannot be visited).
I will gladly update this description once I have sourced the maker.
I do now have a second brooch in my possession which can be found in the Costume Jewellery category of my collection.
Era 70's -80's.
