... once again one masterpiece of french art deco ceramics from my
collection, a really rare piece, created in the year 1925 for the 'EXPOSITION INTERNATIONALE DES ARTS DECORATIFS' in Paris by ROBJ , company founded by Jean BORN and successfully continued by his partner Lucien WILLEMETZ after the death of Jean BORN(1922).
The piece was executed in the FAU + GUILLARD factory in Boulogne sur Seine; when you turn it to the bottom you can check the marks: ROBJ - BOULOGNE S/S - MADE IN FRANCE and
FOGUI means F O (Fau) G U I (Guillard).....
The item is named 'HELIOS'

I recognize the cloud motif at the base as they used that motif on a french car mascot also circa 1925. So beautiful, and all the stamps on base add to its provenance.
