    Found this unidentified tool while cleaning my late father's tool chest - He was a Pipefitter/Instrument Repairman - There is no writing on the item. The knob appears to be made of plastic.
    I would like to know what the tool/instrument is called; and, what it was used for...
    Thanx for any help or insight that you can provide,
