    (876 items)

This Victorian biscuit barrel is made from opaque white glass with applied Peloton threads in pink, blue, white, & yellow. Featuring a ribbed pattern & a satin finish, it measures 17.5 cm tall (including handle), 12.5 cm wide across the top, & 9 cm across the base. The fittings are made from silverplate, marked only with numbers & not a manufacturer's name. An identical item is pictured in Grover's "Art Glass Nouveau." Purchased from the USA.

      IronLace, you are quite welcome.
I am addicted to Cookie Jar, Humidor and Ice Bucket, i start by 1, and now i think i have 7 and another one on it's way.
I really like the metal work on the rim, the little handle, and the fold throughout the glass, eyes candy for sure.

      Regards
      Alan
