Pulled these out an storage shed. They're not porcelain, are still attached to the original street pole, and there are 2 signs in each slot instead of a single double sided sign. Any idea what year they are from?

I've got some from near there that have been tagged though. Thought I could get it off but can't.

Looks like they are a long way from home. They need to be back in the IE.

They look "sorta old" rather than "super old" to me. I'd guess 1960s-70s vintage, but that's just a guess.

I don't know bout that spitball, Pomona is a very old town. In fact, Lucille Ball used to own property there and they called it a mansion get-away. I actually heard her talk about it to Vivian Vance on the I love Lucy show, so they even included it in that. Those signs looks pretty old to me. Fortapache is probably right they look a bit misplaced, unless that whole photo is old. Just my opinion, but I think they look to be about 50's 60's if not older and at that time, that's pretty close to what the area looked like!

I think the signs could be from early as the 1920s. No one in the LA area was making signs like that in the 60s. Pomona has neat old downtown but they lost a couple of their antique malls recently.

You guys are right; it's definitely pre-1960. This Pinterest photo is dated 1955 (seems about right) and shows the same style of street signs.
