The 1937-40 Warren Telechron Model 4B79 "Olympic" originally sold for $9.95, has a wooden case executed in "Burma Padock", in the center and brown walnut on the rounded fluted ends. The dial has a gloss background with black numerals on a satin gold numeral band. Both hands and bezel are brass. The "Olympic" was designed by Jaques Bar, and according to company records 15,952 were shipped.
Picked it up a junk mall, the clock runs and keeps the correct time, and is silent. The cord is rubber with a bare spot near the clock case and will be replaced. It is 6 and 7/8s inches in height, 11 and 9/32 in width, and 3.25 in depth.
A great addition to my collection.
