Hi, I bought this vintage pig cookie jar at a neighbor's estate auction. I thought it was really cute but really know nothing about it. I would love to know what company it was made by and when. Also I would love to know the value of it.

This vintage cookie jar was made by American Bisque. I believe they were in business from 1919 until the early 1980s. Your cookie jar looks to be a mid century piece. I'm guessing from the 1950s.

Thank you for the info. I will do some investigating on American Bisque. Fascinating!

You're more than welcome. Bring it to Austin and I will gladly take it off your hands. HaHa!!! I have an extensive collection of mid century cookie jars. Enjoy your new treasure! I'm glad I could help you out :)

Ten years ago it might been worth $100.+, but now, maybe half that much at best! :^(
I collected lots of cookie jars then, but now hardly anyone has room for them!

Thank you for all the information on my cute little pig! I really like it but I may put it on eBay:(. It's been in my attic for probably 10 years and I guess I'm like everyone else, I just don't have the room to display it and I don't have any more of them. I have a small collection of porcelain dolls that I love and don't even have room to display them. Thanks again for the info:)
