This buckle belonged to a relative who was born in 1914. I would like to know about it's age.
It measures 1" x 2-1/2".

Closures like this were very popular in the 1920s.It is gorgeous!! Maybe it is enamel in colored parts) over brass?
Yes. I think it is enamel painted. I don't know if it is tarnished but won't try to find out. Has anyone seen another like it? The picture doesn't do it justice.
