THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL LAMP THAT CAME FROM A FAMILY FRIEND WHO LIVED TO BE 96 , SHE GOT THE LAMP WHEN SHE MARRIED AT 14 , I CAN NOT FIND ANY DAMAGE ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE CORD HAS SOME FRAYING , IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THIS LAMP HAS MADE IT THROUGH THE YEARS WITH LITTLE OR NO DAMAGE , IT IS GORGEOUS WHEN LIT , MAKES ME APPRECIATE THE WAY THE OLDER GENERATION TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF THEIR BELONGINGS
