I have been wanting a pedal tractor for some time. That and a pedal car. Finally found one at a decent price.
This is a 1950s Murray Diesel although it runs on foot power. It is also the Two Ton model. Perhaps it is a slight exaggeration.
I don't have the time or patience to restore this but I think it will look out in the yard.

Hey now, that's pretty darn special! I thot at first it was a John Deere model. I guess Murray got the colors first.
I wouldn't redo it either but it's still cool fort.

I first thought it was a John Deere too on the small Thumbprint photo. I say it is in pretty good condition for its age. Everything seems to be holding together, just has some rust but not eaten away rust!! I myself would keep it inside as I think you have a little treasure there -- and shame to let mother earth take more of it away. Just my opinion. What did it cost? It is Sweet !!!
Thank you very much Rose. I could put it in the shed or under the deck when it is going to rain or snow. It was $45 which I think was a good buy.
This was the toy we had at the first school I was sent to in my childhood.
