    Taken in April 1987 at 64 Stirling road in edgbaston Birmingham by my old landlord then aged 64 with his new Polaroid " image" land camera which was introduced in 1986. Me outside my 1 bedroom ground floor flat the rent then was £25 a week. He the landlord died in 1995 aged 71. My age then in 1987 was 39/40.

      He owned the 4 houses in Stirling road numbers 58, 60, 62, 64 . They were split into flats and bedsitters there were 8 in each house . He maintained the properties well and did all his own repairs including the gardens . He took them over from his father when he died. He lived on the premises in number 60 . He was married with 2 daughters. When he died his wife sold them to a new landlord and moved to a detached house in harborne.
