You neglected to tell us what it is, or even put it in the section for Cameras-- I'm assuming it's a camera?
    2. Drm1965, 7 years ago
There wasn't a section for cameras that I seen..
And I would think only people who knew what it was would reply...sorry, this is my first post... Will give more info next time..

Found the section and added camera to the description...thanks

Looks like a B&J lantern slide projector (definitely not a camera). I'll check my catalogues to see if anything similar is listed.

Thanks a lot. As you can tell, I don't have any idea on this... I need to post a picture of the inside.. Thanks for your comment..

In the 1914 Burke & James "Cameras Photographic Apparatus Catalog No.13", this is listed as an "Ingento Enlarging Lantern." The device is basically a side mounted photographic projector / enlarger. There were several models that varied by size and the type of lighting. The projection lens appears to be missing.

The item in the first picture is a light source known as an "Ingento Hand Feed 90 degree Arc Lamp." It could produce 500 to 3000 candle power.
