Thank you for helping me identify this heirloom doll.
How tall ? Is there anything stamped on back of head or neck ? She is a composition doll but she would not date back to 1890 . She has a face much like a Dream Baby or Bye low bisque dolls but would be perhaps a take off of one of them she appears to be quite small so detail in face is not real pronounced to tell .
I need a closer look at head I can't tell what it is made of from such a small photo of face . Body is composition . Is head different than legs in what it is made of ?

I don't think that the legs and arms are different material than the head but the body seems to be
Did you look to see if it had any markings ?
I cannot find any markings , tx
