Hello friends. I am trying to find out more info about this image, which appears to be an Australian bush scene of maybe a prospector/miners camp or drovers etc. In my ignorance I can't tell what type of image I am holding, whether it is a print of a photo, or of a painting ( I suspect the latter) I have included several macro pics which attempt to show the cracking of the image due to age, with a view to helping solve it's origins perhaps. Despite the fact it is beaten up I still am curious enough about it and so am reaching out here.
Any and all info gratefully received, particularly about what it is, a print of a photo/lantern image/painting etc but also about approximate age etc.
