I bought this old buffet at an antique store about 14-15 years ago. When I purchased this buffet, it was a really dark brown/black color. I kept it as it was for a couple years and then when we moved to our new home I put it in the garage until I could work on it. It took a little while, but I was able to strip off all the old paint and refinish it as it is now. By doing so you could now see all the pretty grains in the wood. I have really enjoyed this piece. It now sits in my living room as a storage area and picture display.

Not an antique yet. Your buffet dates from the 2nd quarter, 20th century.
