Gee that is the weirdest household stove I have ever seen!! What do you think of it? On the reverse of postcard ,right bottom is says "Theochrome 1229, Printed in the USA-"-so it is not a foreign cooker of some kind, I assume.
Card message " From a man " In Logan, Indiana,
Still doctoring with good hope it is curing him. Nonetheless he plans. a visit on Sat. and will stay over to Sunday with "Miss Pearl, who is in Cutler, Carroll Co. Indiana.

The sideways stamp placement may have been a "message" to Miss Pearl, that meant something between them that would go unsaid on a public postcard.
Well--have you ever seen a "cooker" like the one shown?
Photo #2 is a close-up. The card is from the early teens.IN VG collector cond.

Have a closer look at #2 photo to identify the cooking equipment--please.

I've seen an electric cook top like that once. No cord was attached anymore. Just two prongs to receive the plug.

Maybe because it was a card made in a studio, they had to resort to an appliance for use instead of a home view with a stove. It is good that this occured so we can see a very early electric cook top.-Not streamlined like the upcoming "hot plate"-- The one shown looks "wierd"--but if living quarters were cramped and it "made the pancakes"-- useful.
Looks like they lost the cord for this picture, so it threw me off.
It is a really cute card, and I Love the framed effect with the large, pretty roses.

It looks like the inside of the coleman stoves, right? That's a really beautiful card. Great color still!

Oh yea, I also wanted to comment about the stamp, I like how you think about that... you could be absolutely right!
