This is a set of 12 Princeton University drinking glasses that I found. They have the school colors, crest and motto on them, no chips or cracks.
In the upper part of the shield is an open Bible with Latin characters VET NOV TESTAMENTUM signifying the Old and New Testaments. In the lower part there is a chevron, denoting the rafters of a building. In the spaces between the sides of the shield appears the motto DEI SUB NUMINE VIGET meaning “Under God’s power she flourishes”.
