I bought this several years ago at a little store that was going out of business for $20 because I thought it was cool looking. I have been reading about the history of Ballantine and it has peaked my curiosity about the age and worth of this item. In the close up pic it says "P. Ballantine & Sons Newark New Jersey" From what I have read they stopped operating under that name in 1972. If anyone knows any info on this piece, I would love to know! Thanks!

I've been collecting Ballantine Beer and Ale lighted signs and clocks for approximately twenty (20) plus years and I can honestly say this item is
quite appealing.
