When I found this Seth Thomas 8 day key-wind Steeple Clock 12years ago I paid $40. I had it cleaned, and a new main spring installed, for another $60. The clock repair man offered me $100. and he covered repair, I said no thanks, knowing I could get at least $200. Well time went by, and like a lot of things from 10-15years ago, the price went bye, bye! Now I have a beautiful Seth Thomas Steeple Clock, that on a good day, might get $100., and so it goes, the way of the Cookie Jars, and Depression Glass, a day late, and a dollar, short! :^) I still love it though! :^D
