I think this is an oil burner lamp. It's silver and glass and likely antique. It came from my grandparents home which was built in the late 1800s and many of the items in the home were original to the time the house was buikt

It also looks like Bombay company, they were making these silver plated contraptions in the late 80's and early 90's. They made them beautiful and with incredible detail. You have to remember that grandparents are buying things until they die. I have several things from Bombay with even more detail and good construction.
