I have one of these which I obtained about 20 years ago. It has a red driving wheel, red seat and was fitted with a horn (lost by previous owner) and came with a box and assembly instructions - both of which I have. The plastic tyres (yes that is how we spell tires in Wales) are marked Louis Marx and Co.
Box made by 'Hercules Box Company, Columbus Ohio' and states 1959. Front of the box shows a drawn image of the contents and is described as a 'Ride -er Wrecker Truck' made by 'Louis Marx and Co., Inc. 200 Fifth Avenue. New York 10, N.Y.' on one of the flaps it states 'One Only No 3168 Rider Wrecker Truck with Hoist'.
