I was gifted this brooch yesterday by a friend. This time, a glass transfer cameo of a painting by Fragonard. It is from his Progress of Love series called "Serenade". A very tame piece for a painter better known for his bawdy subject matter. This brooch was made in 1965 by Gerry's Jewelry (famous for their Christmas Tree brooches).
