Souvenir of the Michigan State Fair held in Detroit, 1 3/4 diameter, This design was used for many different States in the 1930s some have the State name in the center other like this one at the bottom and a few don't name the State at all they read State in the center and Fair at the bottom.
I went to this one many times it was held on the north edge of Detroit near 8 mile road and Woodward Ave when I lived close to 13 mile and Woodward.
Very neat.

Nice souvenir! I have family in Michigan on my mothers side. Someday, I hope to visit Mackinac Island.

Thank you TimeTraveller, Mackinac Island is a great place to visit still no cars allowed on the island however the exhaust from the horse drawn carriages can be overwhelming, There are a lot of nice places to visit within an hour from the Island too.
